Referral Criteria

You Matter works with case workers from specialist family violence support agencies. Once long-term accommodation has been secured for women and children, case workers contact You Matter to make a referral.

GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS:  Northern and Eastern Melbourne

• Targeted specifically for women and their children, You Matter is an inclusive organisation, and provides support to any individual who identifies as a woman.
• Our service can only be accessed via a referral from a family violence support agency.
• The woman’s need for the service stems from currently experiencing family violence.
• The woman has secured and is moving into long term accommodation.
• The woman requires a full house set-up – You Matter provides all furniture and goods required for a fully-functioning Haven, including kitchen/pantry, bathroom, laundry and decor items and sets them up in the Haven.
